Another Song, another explanation

So, I have said many time how powerful music is to me... and I like lots of different genres of music. I am definitely a lyrics person, the music part of it can be pretty elementary or "boring" but if the lyrics relate to me I can really appreciate it.

I also feel pretty sensitive (is that the right word) about what people think of the music that I like. Not quite sure what that is all about yet. Still pondering on that one. So, once again as I share this song with it's lyrics, I do so with hesitation. For a couple reasons.

One is because it is a contemporary christian rock song. Which makes me cringe somewhat even typing that so everyone can see. I don't know why but much of Christian Rock makes me cringe, and even some of LDS music does this to me too. However, I must confess that I love the stations that play Sweet Sabbath Sounds on the radio on Sunday, and that much of my high school years I listened pretty exclusively to LDS music.

Two, because well music is a window to the soul, and if I say that I LOVE some song and someone can't see why than I feel like I have to explain it or justify it. Which just so happens to be what I am doing now. Haha.

One more preface... I actually couldn't tell this song was Christian rock until I looked up the artist. I have listened to it over and over since knowing it is Christian Rock and still love it. I would be interested to know what you think.
